Dorchester Illustration of the Day no. 1904 Noah Brooks and James Blake Houses

Dorchester Illustration of the Day no. 1904

Photograph in the possession of the Dorchester Historical Society in large album titled Old Dorchester Houses.  Blake House on the left and Noah Brooks House on the right, facing east on the original site ca. 1895 just before the move of the Blake House to its current location in Richardson Park at 735 Columbia Road.  The original location was next to what is now Massachusetts Avenue, in the electric company’s parking lot.  The foundation may still be under the parking lot.
