Illustration from Walter Baker & Co. pamphlet Chocolate and Cocoa 1909.

As everyone knows Walter Baker & Co. was Dorchester’s most famous industry.  The Dorchester Historical Society is hosting a chocolate cook-off in conjunction with its program about colonial foods on Sunday, February 17th.  Please join in the fun by making something chocolate.

For the Fourth Annual Chocolate Cook-off, let Earl Taylor know you will participate at ERMMWWT@aol.com or 617 293-3052.  Then deliver your creation to the Dorch Hist Soc between 11 -12 Sunday morning Feb. 17.  Winners will be announced at the program.
